Study modes
Two ways of practice are possible:
First, the test, presented in a format of a real test, can be done and your score based on the results you give for every question will be shown immediately;
You can take another way and do the test with tutorials. It’s a very effective way as when you complete every unit of the test, you will see both your results and the tutorials which appear on the screen. The explanation of the correct answer of this unit will be presented in detail. You will find it very helpful to go through some hints, which you can find for some units and which can guide you to a better way of solving the problem.
Individual approach
The scores of your preceding test will be considered in choosing your next level.
It should also be mentioned that every subsequent test is different from the previous.
To select a student’s level accordingly, not only strengths but also weaknesses in the student’s knowledge and performance are taken into account by the tutor4exam system.
Unbiased assessment
To read your score, you should know that:
- correct answer - «+2» points;
- skipped (missing) answer – «-1» point;
- incorrect answer - «-2» point.
After correct completion of a particular section in one level of difficulty, you will be brought into the higher level in the same section.To consider it completed, you have to do all sections of the tutor4exam preparation course successfully.
The more practice, the better the results
As every math / analigies / vocabulary quiz and its results are saved in the archives, it’s possible to revise and/or do it again as many times as you require or want to master the material of this section successfully. The more you practice, the better problem solving skills you develop in every section of the test. You should also know that the number of units necessary for successful completion of the tutor4exam preparation course depends on the initial level of your knowledge and the speed of your mastering the material. For some students it’s enough to answer 300-350 units whereas others would need to spend more time and cover up to 800-900 units in order to improve their skills and knowledge and complete the test.
